The good nutrition is mostly a discipline matter

The Peruvian bodybuilder José ‘El Churre’ Escobar answers us the questions you ever asked at eating time.

While the lockdown continues in many places or the Access to sport facilities is limited, training individually at home or outdoor will be the safest and healthiest choices, especially if we already know our routine and we are able to variate according to our needs.

But what about the nutritional aspect? If the access to our trainer or nutritionist is null or limited, we will be truly lost. Let’s remember that keeping in shape, whether to build muscle or to lose weight, does not base upon only in exercise. What we eat also influences and much (plus how we manage our stress and our resting times).

The first that could come into your head is how much you have to invest in nutrition, and the answer uses to be – a lot. But the proffessional bodybuilder and trainer José El Churre Escobar doesn’t think so: “Eating healthy is not expensive, unless you are someone like me.” The Massive of Massives holds the secret consist in being methodical. “It’s a matter to organize everything.”

Reflectionating on this issue, we asked our followers to send him their questions, and here we have a selection of them with the answers the Peruvian Hulk had us in exclusive – José clarifies he is not a nutritionist and all this comes from his personal experience.

Is it better to eat before or after the training, how much time up or down?

As well as you start your car by inputting it fuel, as well as it’s preferent you eat a little snack at least one hour before training.

What must eat who are sitting down in front of a computer the most part of the day, and have few time to work out?

Before anything, we should analyze if you are really short in time, or there’s a problem by scheduling your daily activities.

So, what food never has to miss into the diet?

Carbohydrates, proteins, vegetables, legumes, fruits, healthy fat – everything has to complement with water.

Which food can I find healthy fat in?

Olive oil, avocado, coconut oil, nuts, pecans, chesnuts, pistachios, peanuts.

Is there any food that stimulates the muscular growth of specific parts in the body?

No, there’s not any.

When must I begin to take supplements?

When you have fulfilled your adaptation phase, that lasts 4 to 6 weeks. If the trainer pushes you to begin since the very first week, he has to give you a good reason for doing it. Let’s remember  many trainers look for a personal advantage instead of a sport benefit.

How must I combine the supplements with my meals?

Look! The supplements don’t add to your meals.

Do the supplements substitute the meals, or viceversa?

The supplements are recommended at a determined moment according to the goals you wish to reach, but not skipping steps. That only will be recommended by the trainer or the nutritionist according to your achievements. At this point, everything depends on your case. If because of a physical or a health condition you need to lose weight urgently, there is a food substitutes line inside the supplement brands.

Can the home meals estimulate my muscular growth?

Yes, sure!
